The Loss Prevention Group provides accredited California Child Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification classes in Oakland, California.

California Child Care First Aid and CPR Certification

We provide onsite training to preschools, daycare and childcare facilities that require EMSA approved California Child Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification.  

All childcare providers will benefit but many childcare and camp providers in California  must take the training to meet licensing requirements.

Course Description
Approved by CA EMSA for licensed childcare facilities, California Child Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR course teaches individuals who work in the childcare field the skills they need to keep children who are in their care safe and healthy. Learn how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, pediatric first aid and injury prevention.

Certification Issued
2 year certificate issued at the end of class, includes EMSA validation stickers.

EMSA California Child Care First Aid and CPR Training Requirements

The EMSA training requirements for California Child Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR is satisfied by maintaining current certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.

Current certification is demonstrated by possession of the following: A current pediatric first aid course completion card issued by a training program that has been approved by the EMS Authority, and a current pediatric CPR course completion card issued by a training program that has been approved by the EMS Authority.

California Child Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR re-certification shall occur at least every two years.

Payment is expected at the time of the class; certification card and EMSA stickers will be handed out at the end of class.

Accepted forms of payment include the Online Shopping Cart, Visa, Mastercard and Discover Credit Cards and Debit Cards, Cash, Money Orders and Cashier Checks (personal checks are not accepted).

Free CPR – If at any time during the first year after you have taken one of our CPR courses, you decided you would like to “freshen” your skills and knowledge. You may join a scheduled class for free.
